Four Millbank is a fine example of Edwardian Architecture located slightly East of St John’s Smith Square. It is an Unlisted Building of Merit along the primary route of the Smith Square Conservation Area characterised by its high quality, traditional materials and fine craftsmanship with Portland Stone facade. The sketch proposal seeks to provide fresh ideas for the existing entrance lobbies including improving the security procedures, segregation of the private, semi-private and public users through rational analysis with the view to reprogram the circulation route.

The proposal aims to revitalise the interior design to retain the original features with a minimal yet finite touch to recreate Four Millbank into a timeless gallery to continue celebrating its history while bringing new life to the building.
