Shinz Design are pleased to have contributed to the modernisation of ‘Fairfax Road’, a Victorian mid-terrace house, located in Hamstead, London. The completed project incorporates a single-storey rear extension, providing a larger kitchen and dining area, transforming a once redundant space into an elegant and calm one. Ample natural lighting is introduced to the extension, with a skylight, glazed doors, and glazed pitched roof, compensating for the lack of sunlight to the area. The project also includes the addition of timber parquet flooring to the front living area, and the redesign of the front garden, restoring the charm and beauty of the Victorian terrace.
